Energy and Radio

Dr. Michael Webber entered into an agreement with KUT Austin NPR affiliate to co-produce a series of radio segments featuring Energy and its relationship to our everyday lives.  The first segment titled “Energy and Zombies” aired on Halloween in which Dr. Webber discussed how zombie movies reflect fears about energy and the environment.  “Energy and Thanksgiving” featured the carbon footprint of a typical Thanksgiving meal, and his most recent segment aired the day before Christmas and looked at the energy implications of celebrating the holidays in wintertime.  Listen to all three segments by clicking the links below, and stay tuned to KUT Austin for more from Dr. Webber.
