Jamie Lee

Undergraduate Research Assistant

Jamie is a senior chemistry undergraduate student working as an undergraduate research assistant for the Webber Energy Group. Her work involves researching issues associated with wastewater generated by oil and gas operations in the United States. Working with Dr. Todd Davidson and Yael Glazer, she helped create a technology database of wastewater treatments currently available and researched data related to shale gas acquisition across the major shale plays in the U.S.

 

Jamie’s interests include energy and environmental policy, and she will be attending law school in the fall to study energy and environmental law. She is the President of the Natural Sciences Council, the legislative body representing the 12,000 students of the College of Natural Sciences, and has worked at the Texas House of Representatives as a legislative intern. She enjoys volunteering at Austin Pets Alive! and is an avid dog-enthusiast.
