Courtney Grosvenor

Courtney earned her B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin in 2011 and completed her M.S. in Energy Policy from the University of Michigan School of Natural Resources and the Environment in May 2015. She has been working in the energy field since 2010.

Courtney’s capstone project at the University of Michigan focused on energy efficiency and resource consumption reduction with Habitat for Humanity of Michigan, a non-profit homebuilder. Building science techniques and improved education for homeowners can reduce energy consumption in affordable housing while simultaneously improving families’ in-home experience. During her time at Michigan, Courtney served the Detroit community through the UM chapter of Sustainability Without Borders on the Detroit Education Initiative, an after-school program for elementary school students focused on the environment.

In her free time, Courtney enjoys crossword puzzles, powerlifting, and adventuring.
