Research Topic: solar energy in Texas

The General Land Office (GLO) is attempting to quantify Texas' total installed solar capacity.  Work has begun on a database listing solar providers and operating sites but the information is neither comprehensive nor entirely reliable.  My job is to improve the GLO database and use it, combined with other resources, to establish the total power that installed solar panels in Texas can ideally draw from the sun.
