Research Topics: the nexus of energy and water in Texas

 

The relationship between energy and water in the state of Texas is a complex web of resource use and management. Through this research, I will quantify and analyze the amount of energy expended in water supply and treatment, along with the amount of water used both directly and indirectly in power generation and fuel production. Results of the energy water nexus analysis will be combined into a report to provide a basis for policy recommendations and sustainable resource management.
